Depending on the application, this equipment reaches its full efficiency at temperatures as low as approximately 65°C, a level at which other thermal chillers typically only offer very limited performance or cannot yet function. It is therefore particularly suitable for being operated with CHP units, district heating networks and thermal solar installations in temperate climates. The InvenSor LTC 09 is suitable for outside temperatures of up to approximately 35°C. For higher temperatures, we recommend the InvenSor HTC range.
The slim construction facilitates transport in buildings. The housing is optimised for transport using lift trucks and transport dollies. To simplify hydraulic connection even after the machine has been set up, all the connections are located on the back of the machine at the top offering good access.
Higher cooling capacities can be easily achieved by connecting a number of modules in parallel. Owing to the automatic optimisation of the operating point, the efficiency of the machine typically increases in the event of part load operation.
Operation as a heat pump has already been prepared and can be activated on the equipment. As in cooling mode, drive energy also has to be available on the hot side. Geothermal or solar heat can be connected on the cooling side. The desired low-temperature heat consumer is connected to the re-cooling circuit. This gives rise to efficiencies of up to approximately 150% relative to the thermal energy employed.
