Bakeries, filling stations and butchers’ shops can save up to 70% on their interior cooling electricity bill. The reason: Berlin-based InvenSor GmbH is now offering its multi-award-winning cooling technology in the form of industry-specific cooling concepts.
In each case the technical basis is the pairing of an InvenSor adsorption chiller with a combined heat and power unit (CHP). Unlike conventional cooling units that consume a lot of electricity, InvenSor chillers use waste heat as the drive energy, e.g. from CHP units, solar installations and industrial production processes.

InvenSor GmbH is the winner of Intersolar Award 2010. The prestigious prize was awarded on 9 June during a ceremony at the Intersolar Europe Innovation Exchange. The company received the award, considered to be one of the most important in the international solar industry, in the "solar thermal energy" category for having developed a highly innovative adsorption chiller. Intersolar Europe is the world's largest trade fair for the solar industry and the most important platform for innovative technologies and services in the photovoltaic and solar thermal energy areas.
